I have a good amount of inside information to add to this page but, as I am still in inputting general info. onto this site as of
8/31/08 you will just have to do with the reports themselves and our comments on them for the time being. Nineteen (19) Chupa Reports
with a lot more coming. We have a bunch of 1995 and 96 reports to psychically "read" and put the Chupa
reports of those on here. We have also listed below some stories that seem like they could be Chupas but aren't. Not everything is as it appears to be.In the meanwhile, there was a type
of creature in Puerto Rico that got a fair amount of news coverage and the peoples attention before the Chupacabras were ever known to exist. Here is one such report, though not the only one in existence of what we could call "The for-runner of the Chupacabra". I'll see if I can locate more of these.
Encounter with a creature: By Aleman - Location: Puerto Nuevo, Puerto Rico
The second event, and the one that is now very much talked about, is
the creature that people have dubbed "The Chupacabras." Back on the early '70s, they had another name for it, and one was captured. It was called "The Garadiablo" and was seen in the swamps of the towns of
Gurabo and Fajardo. I know they still have old newsreels of that event, but for unknown reasons it has never been shown again on TV. The Garadiablo is not the Chupacabra. It is a devilish creature but not a minion of the
unfriendlies. Doesn't have the crest along the back, the color and the size are different too than the Chupas. They were here before the Chupas. They don't suck blood out of the animals, they do eat animals, fruits etc. These
creatures were able to fly and were around before the Chupas. They may well be where the Chupas picked up the genetic winged mutation to get their wings from. One day I took that shortcut alone to go to a
favorite ice cream place. As long as I live, I will never forget what has scared me like nothing ever scared me before or since. As I was walking down on the main street of that old housing lot, something caught my eye. On a huge
tree there was something that started screaming and very angrily trying to get loose from the branches, but could not. I started running; the fear was something I never experienced before. From what I saw, the silhouette was of
nothing I ever saw before, but what I saw was the creature that so many people have seen and now is called the Chupacabras - only this one was huge. Thank God it got tangled on the tree; perhaps it would have tried to attack me. A few years later, my friend from next door and I went back with baseball bats for defense. We went all the way to the top of the hill where the water tank was and, to our surprise, we saw the
creature again. For some reason, it did not sense our presence, and for a while we watched in disbelief as that thing ate some kind of offering, placed there by someone. It was a green apple, to be exact. I grabbed a rock and threw
it at it, but somehow it did not hit him, even though it was impossible for me to miss. By some reason or force, the rock deviated from hitting it. After that, the creature looked at us with a weird look, and it jumped into the
vegetation and was gone. It was a devil-looking thing, kind of green, olive draft in color with red eyes and bat-like wings. Yes, this was a
Garadiablo again. They also have a sort of energetic
force field that was used to deflect the rock. They are about twice the size of Chupacabras. They have been around since at least the last
half of the Nineteenth century. Neida's great grandmother had heard of this Being when she was just a child herself. Then, later she told
Neida the stories. The Garadiablo seems to be a purely a Puerto Rican phenomenon. The name Garadiablo comes from the Garitas which is a sentry post on El Morro fort and the fort of St. Christopher. These were built by the Spanish and both they and the Puerto Ricans saw the Garadiablo
during those times so it is pretty old. Somehow the sightings of these beings were always at or near military sites.

During a spate of mysterious animal killings in the area, the main witness, Eddie Melvin & several other locals stayed up one night hidden behind the darkened
windows of the house & kept watch on the nearby woods. Soon they saw a bizarre creature step out of the woods. The creature was described as being 4-feet tall, covered in dark stringy hair. Its head was shaped like a large
oval, with a pointy chin, with huge glowing red almond shaped eyes. It seemed to have what appeared to be fangs protruding from its mouth. It walked on two muscular legs that terminated in claw like feet. It had two small thin
arms, terminating in four-fingered hands with powerful looking claws. It had a peculiar feature described as some kind of a crest running down its back. This sharp crest appeared to be fluorescent, giving off multicolored hues. The
creature at one point lifted its arms revealing a web-like membrane under them. Suddenly it apparently sensed their presence and ran into the woods rapidly disappearing from sight. HC addition # 2563 Source:

fluorescent multi-colored crest is incorrect. It is not multi-colored and is not fluorescent. That was a play on the little light around the subject. There is a web-like membrane under its arms. That is a mutation.

Near the local forest preserve two men were walking back home engaged in conversation when suddenly from
behind a light pole a strange figure emerged. The creature had a horrible appearance according to the men, it was about 5-feet tall, with an oval shaped head, with huge fiery orange reddish eyes. It had very short arms, resembling
chicken feet, with sharp claws. It had a crest like protuberance on its head. Its legs were thick and robust looking. As they watched, the creature, it began approaching them, terrified they ran from the area towards the nearby

Farmer Jesse Navarro was putting his goats and chickens
away in his barn when out of the bushes came a strange noise. He searched and found a dead goat with strange puncture wounds and its internal organs apparently sucked out. Suddenly he saw a short hairy creature, run away into the

or 1997. It was a dark night and I was at my dad's sister's house in the woods in Evington, Virginia off Platue Dr. I was wandering about and something caught my eye near her house in
the woods near the chicken coop, which was near a barbed wire fence, and beyond that for several miles were some cows and stuff like that. I remember seeing two red eyes that stuck out from out the darkness near the ground, so i
went in for a better look. I remember I kept looking at its protruding, oval-shaped eyes, which appeared to have a black slit through them - like a cat's eyes. It looked at me back and then I got a sense of danger and got really
frightened, then I took off like a bat out of hell back to the house to tell my dad what I saw out there. He ran outside to take a look for himself and we both saw what appeared to be a 3- 4-foot-tall animal running upright on its
legs, and its legs looked like that of a kangaroo, but it did not hop; it ran really fast. In the light of the light pole up the driveway, we saw it was black with scaling-looking skin with what looked like spikes running down its
back. But what I remember most are its red eyes, which I can still see today in my memory. I later talked with the woman that lived there just about a year ago and she said that something killed her chickens and threw them about
her yard -- around 10-15 of them, dead, no blood whatsoever in them at all. Source: About.com Some chups have the spikes running up the

The owner of a house in the O'Higgins
neighborhood was awakened by the ruckus of the chickens she kept in a cage in her backyard. When she went out to check the problem, four creatures confronted her. The creatures were apparently trying to open the birdcage, and were
working in unison. The beings were about 4-feet tall and hairy in appearance. Two of the creatures worked to open the cage while the other tow stood and watch. Overcoming her fear she grabbed a club and tried to scatter the
creatures away. But these simply ignored her, and ran by her so quickly that they seemed to be gliding. She felt a rush of air as they went by. She screamed for her husband, but as he ran out of the house he could find no trace of
the creatures. They had apparently vanished into thin air. Inside the chicken cage they found six dead chickens and a dead rooster, all left apparently bloodless. The three guard dogs in the house were apparently oblivious to the

A month after an unknown predator attacked and killed several farm animals; a woman saw a strange creature walking on two legs. It seemed to

Two young teenagers, Jean F and Nelson C, where at
home at night when Jean noticed that his pet snake had escaped from its cage. Both boys began looking for it outside among the rubble of the parcel. They recalled how half an hour before, their two dogs strangely began to howl and
cry; however, it did not seem to be important at that point in time. They searched for the pet snake together when suddenly, about 30 meters from where they stood; they saw what appeared to be a stray dog. They threw rocks at to
avoid an attack. However, to their surprise, the animal stood there, motionless and fearless; it did not get scared nor it ran away as ordinary dogs normally do. Shortly, the strange animal began to move towards them. The movements
it made as it walked were very strange. It used two legs at a time. It made very small sand short leaps like a rabbit. Suddenly, it stopped and it stood up on two legs. The teenagers then began to feel some kind of energy. "It
was like an electrical shock in the stomach," they said. It later walked again making a loud dragging noise, making small leaps and only moving one of its legs. They noticed the weird shape of the animal. "It was like a
rugby football with legs," one of them said. Jean began to feel frightened and started to move away from animal. On the other hand, Nelson felt a strange need to get closer to the creature; he got to within 2 meters away from
it. The creature appear to emit a strange luminosity that apparently, was bright enough to lit a small area around the creature in spite of the nighttime darkness. Nelson was mesmerized as he stared at the strange creature. He
described it as having a head like a large dog with a flat nose like a bulldog. Its eyes were slanted and pale-red in color, which could only be seen when the creature turned its head from side to side like a lizard. At that
moment, Nelson heard a voice in his head saying, "Don't stare, and just run away." They provided further description, describing the ears as flat, round and large. Its arms were short, it had elbows, and the hands had
three fingers. It had hair like the one on a wild pig. Its legs were like the ones of a goat. The feet had also three fingers and a membrane like ducks, but somewhat shorter. On its curved back, they were able to notice a spinal
section covered with amounts of even thicker hair. Most of the hair of the animal was gray, but the tail had a white tip. Nelson finally fled, terrified, from the area. He also described how he felt an inexplicable bone-chilling

Chups will do such acts as this if they can warn someone of a danger. Location. Calama, Chile Date:

Mirna, was watching television
alone in her room when she began hearing noises coming from outside, at first she thought it was her dogs playing around with some empty cans. But the noises kept getting louder and louder and she decided to go outside to
investigate. Once outside she was stunned to see some type creature that had somehow entered the rabbit cage and was attacking the animals that were making loud unearthly screams. Thinking at first that it was one of the dogs she
approached the case but realized that it was a gray colored hairy hunched over creature, that was moving quickly inside the cage. She stepped back and could not understand how the creature had entered the cage, since there wasn't
any apparent hole or aperture visible anywhere and the door was firmly closed. Afraid she ran inside her home and notified her son, both then ran out but the creature had mysteriously disappeared. Unnerved, they could not
understand how they creature had escaped since the door to the rabbit caged was still firmly locked. Later they could only find a small round hole in the wire only several centimeters in width, not large enough for a creature
estimated to have been about 70 to 80 cm in height. Several of the rabbits were found injured and one was dead. Chupas like all beings also have the

A man and three of
his friends reported encountering two bizarre chupacabra type creatures one stood about 3-4 ft tall, the other looked to be about 6 ft tall. Both had large glowing red eyes and spikes starting from the head to the back. They

Luis Alfredo Diaz reported hearing loud noises coming from the terraced patio where the kitchen was located, going to investigate he found his cat apparently dead with two
obvious holes on the neck and some blood on the floor. Before finding the cat he had called his wife, Maria de Los Santos Barrios. As his wife stood in front of him a panic stricken look came over her face, turning around he was
confronted by a bizarre 1-meter tall humanoid that had jumped to the center of the patio. The creature was described as thin, covered with dark hair, with large pointed ears that almost covered its face, it had very large eyes and
extremely strong hind legs resembling that of a kangaroo. Terrified he ran to his son's bedroom and carried him outside yelling for his neighbors. A search failed to locate anything. Source: Panamanian Paranormal Forum

Hearing a loud ruckus coming from the goat pen, 14-year Ariel Gonzalez summoned his guard dogs and went to investigate. As he approached the pen the dogs refused to go any
further and began to emit an unearthly howl. Climbing on top of a small hill he looked inside the pen and was horrified to see a bizarre creature that had climbed on top of a goat. He described it as a short hairy humanoid with
large glowing red eyes and shiny white sharp fangs protruding out of its mouth. The creature jumped down from the moribund goat and disappeared into some nearby woods. Several of the animals were found dead and bloodless and

Two men were reportedly attacked in a wooded area by a short powerfully built creature covered with black hair and with glowing red

After reporting several bizarre attacks to his poultry and chickens, farmer Ramon Guzman, forensic doctor Irma Vazquez and local UFO enthusiast Noel Vazquez
were standing watch late one night when they heard strange noises coming from a nearby field. Running towards the field they noticed a bizarre creature that was at that moment taking flight leaving the area at very high speed. The
figure, which was briefly seen by the light of the flashlights, was described as about 1 ft & a half in height, with large four foot in width wing-like protrusions, "it resembled a gargoyle or a mutation" according to

Veronica Vildosola began to hear strange banging sounds coming
from the roofs of adjacent homes. It sounded as if someone or something was jumping from roof to roof. Suddenly she heard what sounded like a very heavy "bird" land on the roof of her house. Immediately she heard loud
scratching noises on the roof. Fearing an attack on her ducks and chickens she kept in her yard she asked her husband to go out and check. Her husband, Juan Silva went out and reported encountering a bizarre creature resembling a
dog wrapped around the back of a helpless duck. Silva approached the animal and threw a wrench at it, but it did not move, Silva then began striking the creature with a metal rod. The creature made some growling noises. Silva could
see that whatever it was it had a pair of very bright eyes. At this point Veronica had stepped out armed with a shovel and saw when the creature made its escape. In a strange half erect position the creature quickly scurried away
from the area. At the same time the neighborhood dogs began to bark frantically. Later they noticed that the hapless duck had a deep orifice from which the creature had apparently sucked its blood out. Other ducks disappeared
mysteriously. Around the same time in the nearby village of Quillota residents saw a bizarre creature that jumped from roof to roof, some of the witnesses saw strange glowing eyes that seemed to have a paralyzing effect on the

Villagers in this Northwestern Nicaraguan village reported
the sudden death of their sheep; apparently attacked by an unknown creature they dubbed the "Chupacabra". 12 female sheep were found dead, all had strange round wounds in the area of the neck according to farmer Alicia
Icabalceta. Another farmer Albertina Brenes reporting losing 5 sheep to the mysterious creature. One of her nephews reported hearing noises at the same time that the sheep displayed nervous behavior. Other farmers reported seeing a
strange creature described as a mixture of a dog and a kangaroo with very long and strong hind legs and very shiny eyes roaming the countryside. Source: El Dia Newspaper August 2003 It is a Chupacabra sighting. Its actual description is not so much like a dog but yes the basic structure of a kangaroo. Chupacabras don't roam in packs, they don't have to as they are able like
our penguins to feed a lot, store it in their bodies and then later feed others mostly their children. This one was eating enough to feed her kids. Both sexes can eat and feed others like this. Chupacabra Encounter by Gus - The sighting took place
September, 2003 eight miles SSE of Arivaca, Arizona in the Cerro Colorado Mountains, about 15-16 miles north of the Mexico/U.S. border.
Arivaca is between Tucson and Nogales, Arizona.
The Cerro Colorado Mountains are a moderate size desert range rising out of the desert to a height of about 2,000 feet above the floor. There areof animals
there, including bighorn sheep, deer, javalina, coyotes, fox, bobcats, mountain lions and numerous small game. Water is abundant as this is mostly the high desert.
It was about 30 minutes after sundown;
twilight would go for an hour or more. I had finished an afternoon scouting for deer as the hunting season opens the first week of November. I was on horseback about 1.5 miles from camp up in the rocks when I found a dead bighorn
sheep lamb. The thing looked like it had been killed within the hour. There was a nasty-looking bloody hole in its throat just above the chest area. It appeared that the predator had eaten the heart and blood, nothing else. There
was some blood on the ground but not as much as I would have thought for that type of wound. This is not the way the cats in Arizona kill and eat.
I looked around and picked up the trail of a three-
possibly four-toed animal with each toe about the length of my finger with a claw or nail on the end of each one. I had never seen a track like that in all the years I've spent in the wild. I remounted and followed the tracks
across the face of the mountain then down a draw. Looking down, I saw the thing about 50 feet below me headed down hill; I followed it. After a bit, it knew the horse was there and turned to face it, then saw me and moved more
rapidly down hill, but it couldn't out run the horse. (I've hunted mountain lions on this horse so she's used to the hunt.)
Its stride was about 1.5 feet walking upright and 5-8 feet when moving on
three or four limbs and possibly 15-20 whenmaking ahop. It had a funny gait, almost a lope, but little jumps and sometimes bounds were involved. It only looked back at me three times that I saw. It finally got down to a steep rocky
area that is full of cracks, crevasses and holes between the boulders. In the thing went. I circled around to the other side in hopes of picking its trail back up, but it had disappeared in the rocks. In all, I had it in sight for
about 10 minutes and covered about 1/2 of a mile.
The thing looked like a cross between the Creature from the Black Lagoon and a rhesus monkey. It moved on both two, three and four legs/arms. It stood
about 3.5-4 feet tall when standing and weighed, I would guess, about 50-60 lbs. It had large lemur-like eyes, brown skin, possibly fine fur, a large bald or hairless head, enlarged buttocks, and thick hind limbs. When I say it
looked like a cross between the Creature from the Black Lagoon, it's because of the protrusions along its back. Not spikes because they were flexible and they moved as it ran - almost like four folding hand fans opening and closing
along the pleats. It had claws or long gray nails on at least three of the digits on the left front and rear. It had more of a snout than a nose. I didn't see any teeth. It had a dead meat smell, but not rotten meat, no doubt
because it had just fed.
I returned to the lamb the next morning and it was still there. Now that is truly unnatural as the area has lots of coyotes, fox, bobcats, mountain lions and badgers. All are
carrion and meat eaters and none had even gotten close to the kill. I watched with binoculars later as the buzzards found and begin eating it. I went to the boulders, but could find no further evidence of the thing. I have seen a
lot in my day; I've even been followed by a jaguar. I've lived most of my life outside the city in the Arizona Desert and have never seen anything alive or dead that slightly resembles the thing I followed. A type of Chupacabra with Mutations such as the back spines. Chupacabra in
Arizona by Sarah A. - On Thursday, November 6th, 2003, my mom and I walked outside the front door of our Tucson, Arizona home. As my mom turned to lock the door, I walked toward the car. Just then, I was shocked by a dark figure of what
looked like a man/ape. It was crouched down, sort of frog style, and took a jump forward as if I had scared it. It made a high hissing noise. In fear, I closed my eyes and did not move until I heard my mom's voice say, "What's
the matter? What happened?"
I was so freaked, I ran and looked around the front yard yelling, "Did you see that?! Did you see that?!" She said she saw a glace of something running out of
the corner of her right eye, but it was too fast to see a figure. It was gone almost as if it vanished.
After telling a few of my friends the description of the creature, half man half ape-looking
thing, crouched down on its huge hind legs and had an arched spinney back, with very large piercing eyes, one friend jokingly said, "Oh, sounds like a chupacabra." After looking up chupacabra on Google, this is what I

Chupacabra story (two different beings) The owner of the Rancho El Cadillo, Mr. Jesus Gel Gonzalez reported to the municipal police that six of his animals had been found dead from very strange wounds to their bodies. Police
officers and Dr. Oscar Sanchez, director of the department of health for Juarez, reported to the scene and found the carcasses of six goats presenting very deep wounds on their necks. The injuries appeared to be bite of some
predatory animal, although what most surprised the officials was the fact that there wasn't a drop of blood to be found in any of the bodies. The rancher stated having seen a creature standing 1.20m tall, gray in color and with a
4-meter wingspan, which he suspects it the culprit in the goat slayings. He added that this is not the first time that animals have been killed in such a way on his property, and that even some of his dogs have disappeared.
Policemen reporting to the scene found some prints resembling large, four-fingered claws were unable to determine the type of beast they corresponded to. Dr. Sanchez said that these deaths are not normal, given that a predator such
as a puma or coyote would have ripped into the goat's abdomen to feet on their organs. The creature responsible for the goat deaths only sucked their blood, but what type of animal could have caused this, remains a mystery.

Samuel Saavedra told reporters that he heard a loud noise,
"as if something had jumped off the large wall surrounding the house." Saavedra said he saw a creature that was approximately 1.20meters in height, furry, and with a round bald head. The creature had large eyes and an intense stare
and gave Saavedra a "defiant glare". Saavedra said he called the police and then went to spend the night at his mother's house, being so scared that he refused to return home for 48 hours. That same night something attacked a
henhouse in San Antonio leaving every chicken dead, without blood and with a mysterious orifice on their spines. One of owner's daughters who did not want to identify herself said that she heard dogs barking wildly that night, but
did not see anything abnormal after rising several times throughout the night. Flor Vazquez, 73, the owner, told police that she found strange footprints on her patio with only three toes, two facing forward and one
