Neida says that she's had a life when she was a GUARDIAN of mermen and women in general. She was around the nursery/breeding area. She was not allowed to touch them so as to not imprint any undesirable human qualities on them. She was there near the time when the Nommo's had genetically and otherwise psychically altered the self aware marine life forms that developed into the MerFolk race.

Merfolk come from two regions. One the Mediterranean and the other above England and up to Finland. These are both in the Northern hemisphere. The energies, the magnetic fields of the southern hemisphere demanded a more robust being/creature than the root merman stock could supply so none of this type of being could be developed there. The South hemisphere is male in energy vibes and the north is feminine.

Location. Faroe Islands Denmark  Date: 1723
Time: unknown      Members of a Royal Danish Commission investigating supposed sightings of "mermaid" like creatures in the area watched such a figure approach their vessel. It sank into the waters but surfaced shortly afterwards to stare intently at them with its deep-set eyes. A few minutes of this scrutiny proved so unsettling that the ship affected a retreat. Location. Sandside, Caithness, Scotland  Date: January 12 1809   Time: morning      Two women standing on a beach in a remote area of northeastern Scotland saw what looked like the face of a young woman "round and plump and of a bright pink hue" in the sea. It then disappeared into the water, to reappear a short time later. When they were able to observe more of the top part of its body, they could see that it had well-formed human breasts. Location. Corphine, Kintyre, Scotland  Date: October 13 1811  Time: unknown     John McIsaac reported seeing sitting on top of a black rock on the seacoast a bizarre creature. "The upper half of it was white, and of the shape of a human body; the other half towards the tail, of a brindled or reddish gray color, apparently coverd with scales; but the extremity of the tail itself was of a greenish red shining color." The head was covered with long hair and at times it would put back the hair on both sides of its head, it would also spread its tail like a fan and while so extended the tail continued in tremulous motion and when drawn again it remained motionless. Kintyre, Scotland  Date: October 13 1811  Time: afternoon     That same afternoon, Katherine Loynachan stated that she was herding some cattle near the sea shore when she saw a creature sliding off one of the rocks and dropping into the water, surfacing six yards out. Location. Portgordon, Scotland   Date: April 20 1814  Time: 1600      Two fishermen were returning from fishing in Sprey Bay, when about a quarter of a mile from the shore, the sea being perfectly calm, they observed, at a small distance from their boat with its back turned towards them, and half its body above the water, a creature of a tawny color, appearing like a man sitting, with his body half bent. Surprised, they approached the creature, till they came within a few yards, when the noise of the boat caused the creature to turn about, which gave the men a better opportunity of observing him. They described his countenance as swarthy, his hair short and curled, of a color between a green and a gray, he had small eyes, a flat nose, his mouth was large, and his arms of extraordinary length. Above the waist, he was shaped like a man, but as the water was clear the men could perceive that form the waist downwards, his body tapered considerably or, as they expressed it, "like a large fish without scales." The creature then dived and surfaced some distance away and was not alone. With him was what appeared to be a female of his species for she had breasts and hair that reached past her shoulders. Location. West coast of Scotland  Date: Summer 1814   Time: afternoon     A frightened boy reported seeing a creature half human and half fish, he got nothing but ridicule for his efforts. A month later a group of children saw what they thought was a drowning woman, whom closer examination revealed to be something else entirely. The upper part was exactly like a woman, the skin appeared very white, and a good deal of color in the cheeks, and very long darkish looking hair; the arms were well proportioned above, but tapered very much towards the hands, which were no longer than a child's. The tail was like an immense large cuddy fish in color and shape. Other witnesses arrived, including a man with a rifle that was dissuaded by the others from shooting at it. Location. Benbecula, Outer Hebrides, Scotland Date: 1830  Time: morning     A group of crofters in an island were cutting seaweed when one of them stumbled across an animal "in the form of a woman in miniature" on the shore. The men in the party tried and failed to capture her, but as she tried to swim to safety a boy hurled a stone that struck her in the back. Two days later, her dead body washed up two miles from where she had been seen, and a careful examination was made of it. "The upper part of the creature was about the size of a well-fed child of three or four years of age, with abnormally developed breasts." The hair was long, dark, and glossy, while the skin was white, soft, and tender. The lower part of the body was like a salmon, but without scales. Location. Lacar Lake, Neuquen, Argentina  Date: 1850   Time: unknown     A mermaid like creature, apparently half amphibian, and half human was reportedly seen in the area. Mermaid that practiced the art of levitation and was able to achieve flight. Even as some of us humans have achieved the same ability. Yes there were a number of other mer-folk down there. It was a settlement, not a city.

Location. Central Russia, European Part (Exact location unknown)  Date: circa 1855    Time: unknown       The famous Russian writer Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev (1818-1883) was once swimming in a quite forest lake in a remote area of Central Russia when he felt someone's hand touching his shoulder. He turned around and saw a "horrible" female humanoid creature, similar to a monkey, with a huge grimacing face, covered in long red hair. Turgenev was seized by panic and horror and rushed to the shore, but the "monster" chased him. Luckily there was another witness near the shore, a young boy, a shepherd who came running, reacting to Turgenev's screams. Surprise, he was more into fear and did not take the time to see that she was no monstrous looking being. She is from the same genetic pool as mermaids but some beings prefer lakes to oceans and their bodies change according to their environment just as other animals bodies do over time. Neida, is this a water being or Merfolk?

Location. Off the coast of Britain  Date: June 4 1857  Time: unknown     A Scottish seaman reported spotting a creature, "in the shape of a woman with full breast, dark complexion, and comely face." No other information.

Redondo Beach California  Date: May 1935   Time: daytime         A fishing boat crew saw, 3 miles offshore a bizarre merman like creature, described as having shiny eyes a broad smooth forehead, dark hair on its head and a beard. It appeared to be between ten to twelve ft long. Location. Island of Muck Highland Region Scotland  Date: 1947  Time: unknown      80-year old Alexander Gunn, an angler saw a mermaid like creature right off the coast of the island. The being was a female humanoid in appearance, and sat on a floating wooden box and appeared to be combing her long blond hair. Location. Chirundu, Zimbabwe  Date: 1951  Time: evening
16-year old Cleo Rosin had gone to her mother to the Zambezi River in order to collect some drinking water. When they arrived at the river there was a canoe anchored along the bank, and Cleo climbed inside in an adventurous way. When she sat down, she noticed that there was a small round island in the middle of the river, which was especially wide at this point. And sitting on the island, near its edge, with her lower body partially in the water, was a particularly beautiful woman with long black hair. To Cleo's surprise, the woman was naked and she was white. At this stage, Cleo's mother was still filling the buckets with water. She called out to her mother: "Mommy, just look at that woman over there." Her mother looked up and said, "Sh...Sh...you'd better keep quiet." And then she added, "Look away." But Cleo had already seen the bottom part of the woman's body and it was like a fish and the woman was looking directly at them. But as her mother advised, Cleo looked away, and when she looked up again, the woman was gone. Location. Coast of Malta  Date: August 1971  Time: daytime
A scuba diving instructor named Ian Skinner was swimming at a depth of 130 ft when he saw a light ahead of him and was drawn toward it both by curiosity and what seemed like an unknown force. Over the next ridge and very much further down, he saw a very beautiful young woman, tall and slim, with a lovely figure, standing at the entrance to a large cave. "The incandescence of the surrounding area added to the serenity and calm of the sight." He thought he could be suffering from nitrogen narcosis and he looked at the depth gauge, which revealed a depth of 230 ft down. Then she spoke "Hello, I have been waiting for you, do not be afraid, with me you are safe." Skinner backed away but she smiled, walked toward him, and held out her hand. The hand felt warm, sensual, and safe, and his fear disappeared. She spoke again, "When you return to me I will be waiting for you, then you will stay with me forever. I have a gift for you." She handed Skinner a small jar shaped like an amphora. As he ascended, he saw her waving as she slowly faded from view. Skinner surfaced still carrying the amphora, which was later identified as a Phoenician scent jar.  Source: Mike Dash, Borderlands  Female Mermaid showed herself as more humanish. He had another incarnation where he was a merman too. She recognized him.

Location. Mindanao Island, Philippines  Date: Summer 1978  Time: night
Filipino angler Jacinto Fetalvero reported that one moonlit night he had met a beautiful mermaid, with "amiable bluish eyes, reddish cheeks, and green scales on her tail." She helped him secure a bountiful catch. A torrent of ridicule ensued, and Fetalvero thereafter refused to discuss the subject.  Source: Jerome Clark, Unexplained!  Mermaid

Location. Several miles of the coast of Florida, Atlantic Ocean  Date: 1988  Time: afternoon       Professional scuba diver Robert Froster was diving alone looking for mysterious undersea formations, when he noticed a disturbance in the water. When he turned to look, he saw a vague, shadowy figure slashing toward him. All around him the water had begun to churn wildly, and clouds of sediment were swirling. As the creature rushed toward him, it appeared to undulate, rather than glide. When the fast moving form got to within 20 yards of him, he noticed something odd about it. Appendages like arms, seemed to be reaching out toward him, and the end of each arm appeared to be sharply talon hands. He then saw the creature in full view. He saw an unmistakable pair of breasts, long flowing hair, smooth skin, and scaled tail from the waist down. It appeared to be half woman, half fish. Froster said, "I've never seen such evil hate in the eyes of any human or animal before." Before the creature could reach him, Froster shot up toward the surface and was able to scamper over the side of his craft to safety. Location. Anapa, Black Sea, Russia  Date: 1996  Time: daytime
B. Borovikov was hunting sharks in the area and on that particular day had descended to a depth of eight meters. He then saw giant beings rising up from below. He described them as milky white, but with humanoid faces, and something like fish tails. The being ahead of its companions noticed Borovikov, and stopped. It had giant bulging eyes. Two others joined him. The first one waved a membrane hand at the diver, and then all of them approached him and stopped a short distance away. Location. Semibalki, Azov area, Rostov-on-Don region, Russia 
Date: about March 20 2007   Time: daytime    After a powerful storm in the Sea of Azov fishermen from the village of Semibalki pulled from their nets a strange 2-meter tall creature, similar to a shark, but not a shark (there are no sharks in the Sea of Azov). The men had never seen such a creature in their lives. The strange entity emitted strange squeaking sounds and rotated its eyes. The unusual catch was filmed using a mobile phone. Its strange head, smooth scaly body and its long tail are clearly seen. The body is very shiny; apparently covered by something greasy or waxy. The weight of the strange creature was about 100kilograms. However to the dismay of scientists and UFO researchers alike the fishermen of the village were not afraid of the strange "fish" and ate it (!). They claimed it was very tasty. Ocean life experts who saw the film claim that the animal was very similar to a sturgeon, albeit a "mutated" one. Andrey Grodovoi head of the "Service of anomalous phenomena" from the town of Azov commented that the creature was possibly a "mermaid". Legends about mermaids in the Sea of Azov abound but this has never been confirmed. This is a 2 to 3 yrs. young mermaid being that is a mutation. These mutations are why it eventually came to the surface to die. It could no longer live with those handicaps. Neida says that this one has a flatter face than mermaids. Its arms are attached along its body and its legs and feet have not fully formed as todays mer-folk have.
